The Smile Shop, Help Others to Smile

The Smile Shop or in Indonesian language called Toko Senyum belongs to Yayasan Senyum (The Smile Foundation) http://www.senyumbali.org/. Founded by Mary Northmore, this foundation have mission to reduce the suffering currently associated with craniofacial abnormalities and to improve quality of life by facilitating the delivery of health care to people with craniofacial disabilities in Bali and other Indonesian islands in partnership with local and international health care professionals.

They have done surgeries mostly in Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar, patients who present with serious conditions that need a higher level of treatment than is currently available locally are sent to the Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide, for surgery by Professor David David.

Maya Ubud has been participating in contributing good as news stuffs that they can sell in the shop.
